Mr. Burgers has published several legal essays in the field of corporate law in the Dutch legal magazines WPNR, TVVS and "Ondernemingsrecht" and in the Antillean TAR-Justicia.

Further Mr. Burgers was initiator and co-editor of the book in English "Corporate law in practice", in which over 100 questions with regard to corporate law were answered for the Netherlands, Netherlands Antilles and ten other countries.

Mr. Burgers wrote the book in Dutch “Antilliaans en Nederlands Vennootschapsrecht� (Antillean and Dutch Corporate Law) in the series "Ars Notariatus".

Together with the late Mr. Elmer L. Joubert, Mr. Burgers wrote the chapter about the Antillean corporate law in English of the book "Netherlands Antilles Business Laws".

Finally, Mr. Burgers wrote the chapter (in Dutch) "Rechtspersonenrecht" (Corporate law) in the book "Nederlands-Antilliaans recht voor de bank- en financieringspraktijk" (Netherlands Antilles law for the banking and financing practice).
